TRAPA NATANS SCUTARIENSIS
The National Museum of Montenegro, Cetinje
This project was part of "SHKODAR LAKE", a solo exhibition at Gallery Atelier Dado--which was the studio given to Montenegrin artist Miodrag Duric, known as Dado. Gallery Atelier Dado is one of the venues of The National Museum of Montenegro, which serves as an exhibition space for contemporary art.
There are about 144 endangered animal and plant species in Shkoder/Skadar Lake. The most symbolic of them is Trapa Natans Scutariensis. These species risk turning into paintings forever if no more comprehensive action is taken by both countries in synchrony.
